What if there was a herbal that everyone should supplement with? Every part is beneficial from the leaves to the fruit, the pods; even the bark and roots. This plant contains all the essential amino acids our body’s need, rich in vitamin A, and has powerful antioxidant properties. The antibacterial properties make it a great choice for those with certain infections or trouble with acne. Others can benefit from the antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Want to grow long and strong hair? This plant has all the nutrients needed for your luscious locks as it contains vitamin B6, biotin, inositol, and folic acid. This herbal even promotes keratin and collagen production because of the high sulfur content.
Moringa is the incredible plant! On top of all these benefits, Moringa contains large amounts of necessary minerals such as calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium, selenium, copper, and manganese. Often called “The miracle tree”, Moringa has twice as much potassium as bananas, seven times more vitamin C than oranges, and 25x more iron than spinach! No wonder this plant is used to help fight malnutrition in India and Africa! Moringa can boost energy levels because of all the nutrients it contains, making it a great alternative to other supplements full of sugar and unnecessary ingredients.
As with all supplements, before taking this supplement you should discuss it with your physician to ensure that it is right for you. Moringa may lower blood pressure, slow heart rate, lower blood sugar and affect thyroid medications. It may also interfere with the metabolism of Rifampin or antiretroviral medications for the treatment of HIV as it may interfere with the metabolism of these prescription medications. Some clients may experience GI upset, bloating, gas, and diarrhea because of its laxative properties. Do not use if pregnant or nursing without consulting a physician.
