Pets and Ticks

Ticks are a huge issue for our pets. Often times people that have contracted Lyme disease, did so from a tick that came from their pet. Here at Well With Rae we have a few different natural remedies for keeping ticks off of your pets, including a “ticked off” spray that you can use on them. Most tick repellents for pets contain harsh chemicals, neurotoxins, and have been known to cause harmful side effects.

Here’s some natural ways to keep ticks off of your pets:

  • Check them for ticks regularly, especially after they’ve been in the woods or tall grass
  • Wash their bedding regularly
  • Have your pets groomed regularly
  • Wash your bedding and throw blankets regularly if your pets are allowed on the furniture
  • Look into an all natural yard spray to help repel ticks from your yard
  • Treat your pet with an all natural tick repellent
  • Take good care of your yard. Keeping the grass low, and weeds trimmed takes away the habitats that ticks live in.
  • Plant flowers and perennials to help attract birds and and small animals that eat ticks
  • Look into pet safe essential oils that repel ticks

Here at Well With Rae we love our fur babies, so we’re passionate about their health! Did you know that we have testing for your pets as well? We can send DNA off for your pets to help better understand what’s going on with their health. It’s as simple as fur, saliva, and a nail sample. We can address your pet’s mitochondrial dysfunction and give them holistic remedies, just like humans! Based on their results, we can give basic supplement regimens to help your pets meet all their needs.

Your fur babies can also use our PEMF machine! PEMF is great for older dogs and has been proven to enhance their quality of life because it can help, pain, arthritis, inflammation, stiffness, bone injuries, wounds, ligament injuries, and neurological conditions.

If your pet has a health condition, injury, or pain, holistic pet care may be the right path.
